Truly Immortal

If you choose to play a pureblood elf, you are blessed by the Elven Goddess. This must be selected at the beginning of the game, and cannot be gained later.

You gain the following Ancestry Trait:

(0) Immortal: Your age is eternal. When you reach maturity you no longer age(d) and cannot die from being long lived. If you gain milestone bonuses from age, you instead gain additional Ancestry Points.

DM Note: You can only have one “0 Point” Ancestry Trait when creating your character, so if you want to start the game with this feature you must swap it out with Discerning Sight.

Default Traits

(1) Elven Will: You have ADV on Checks and Saves against being Charmed and put to Sleep.

(2) Nimble: When you take the Dodge Action, you instead gain the benefits of the Full Dodge Action.

(2) Agile Explorer: You ignore Difficult Terrain.

(0) Discerning Sight: You have ADV on Checks and Saves made to discern through visual illusions.

Expanded Traits

(1) Elven Weapon Familiarity: You favor bows and other elegant weapons. You gain access to all weapons with the elf trait. You have mastery with weapons with the elf trait plus longbows, composite longbows, rapiers, shortbows, and composite shortbows.

(1) Peerless Sight: You don't have DisADV as a result of making an Attack with a Weapon at Long Range.

(1) Climb Speed: You gain a Climb Speed equal to your Movement Speed.

(2) Speed Increase: Your Speed increases by 1 Space.

(1) Forlorn: Watching your friends age and die fills you with moroseness that protects you against harmful emotions. You gain a +1 circumstance bonus to saving throws against emotion effects. If you roll a success on a saving throw against an emotion effect, you get a critical success instead.

(1) Plant Knowledge: You have a innate familiarity with forested areas. When in a forest or jungle environment, if you roll a critical failure on a Survival skill check to Sense Direction, Subsist, or Cover Tracks, you get a failure instead, and if you roll a success, you get a critical success instead.

(1) Share Thoughts: You have an uncanny knack of communicating with other elves without speaking, though this habit that is often uncomfortable to observers. You can cast mindlink as an innate arcane spell once per day, but you can target only other elves or half-elves.

(1) Elven Instincts: Your senses let you react rapidly. You gain the Elven Instincts Card: You can make a free Perception check when drawn, with a +2 circumstance modifier. Additionally, if this card is tied with that of an opponent, you always go first.

(-1) Strength Attribute Decrease: You decrease your Strength by 1 (to a minimum of 0).

(-1) Frail: Your HP maximum decreases by 4.
